SAH Series Steam-Air Heater

①、General

SAH Series Steam-Air Heater is a new type of heat exchanger used for utility boiler. The air is heated by steam. It is developed by Wuxi Hua Tong Electric Power Equipment Co.,Ltd. The transfer elements of the equipment are spiral-finned tubes. It is in possession of many advantages, such as compact structure, less pressure drop, high transfer efficiency. Thus, comparing with other type of stream air heater, SAH Series can enlarge its heating surface 5~6% and get obvious result of energy conservation without any accessional resistance , so the characteristics of product has achieved ahead of the domestic and world level in the similar products.

SAH Series Steam-Air Heater uses low pressure extraction come from steam turbine as a heat source to heat air. Adopting the stream air heater in the inlet of air preheater of utility boiler, the air preheater can avoid oxygen corrosion and sulfur corrosion from the metal surface. The former is caused by vapor condensate, the later is caused by combination of water and sulfur trioxide. Thus the fouling of low temperature metal wall will be greatly decreased. The draft loss would not increase too. The life time of air preheater will be prolonged and safety operation can be maintained.

②、Structure

SAH Series Steam-Air Heater is composed of a number of staggered spiral-finned tubes, which are connected with upper and lower header. All the elements are set on the metal frame. In accordance with the dimension of air duct, the SAH Series Steam- Air Heater can be combined in parallel. It has high heat transfer, less resistance, sturdy and durable structure, easy to install and maintenance.

The spiral-finned tube bank is wholly galvanized. Inside and outside frame is painted with heat-resistant paint. The clearance between two paralleled SAH and the joint between SAH and air duct must be tightened with sealing gasket. Therefore the rust-resistance, corrosion resistance and tightness are well done.
